Why I Created CRUISE777

I've been in the tax and accounting service business for more than 40 years, and cruising has been a passion of mine for decades. I naturally became the person friends, family, clients, and neighbors turned to when they had cruise questions. That's really one of the reasons AskBruceL came about.​

Twenty-one years ago, after becoming dissatisfied with a local travel agent I had been referring people to, I decided to start handling cruise bookings myself. I joined a host agency and began using my own experience to help people find cruises they would enjoy.

I've now been on more than 40 cruises.

​

But cruising has changed dramatically. With today's technology, there are many ways to shop for a cruise, so I started comparing the prices and options available through my own agency with what I could find elsewhere online.

I was surprised to discover that I wasn't always finding the best deal through my own agency.

​
